Triathalon and Stove S'mores

Adam did a triathalon over the weekend! I am super proud of him. His running time was the fastest out of EVERYONE'S running time! Super awesome.

We tried to make s'mores on our rooftop, but we live in Portland, so that wasn't possible. It started to rain, so we made stove s'mores. Equally delicious.

Rose Festival

My family was able to come visit for the Rose Festival. Before they came, Adam and I were able to go to the fireworks and fair on the waterfront. 

 Poor family. They always come when it is cold. (Even in June.)

 The roses at the rose garden were beautiful!

A fattie squirrel came and ate by my feet. What a fool. He has Meeka instincts.

 We watched the dragon boat races. (Yes, that is a real thing.) It was definitely one of my favorite parts of the festival.

 We drove through the pretty part of the Columbia River Gorge and saw Multnomah Falls.

Portland is so wonderful in the summer!

San Francisco

I love when I get to visit San Francisco. My parents flew me out for a quick visit in May to go to a Giant's game and to watch my cousin, Katie, bridge to a Junior Girl Scout!

It was a wonderful trip. I definitely loved all of the sunshine!!!

New Home

What else has happened in this little while? We moved! We have a wonderful new apartment now. It is 6 minutes walking from my work and just a walk and air tram ride for Adam to get to work. No more parking (and parking fees), no more traffic (YAY), and no more dark dungeon apartment. 

We love all of the light that we get and the more functional, extra space that we have.

Meeka Moments

Mmmm. It's been a while. Well, I certainly have a lot to catch up on! I will start with Meeka and her "precious" moments from the last little while.

This is when Meeka was super cute and killed my fish. How you might ask?

Simple. By climbing up insane heights and pushing things over- like a fish bowl.
