spring is here!

Portland is the place to be. Truly, it is. Especially when the sun is out. People around here get a serious lack of vitamin D, so any time the sun is shining, I'm reminded that Portland actually is a big city because everyone comes out to play. I love it. Everyone should live in a place where the whole city ends up laying out in the grass taking pictures of cherry blossoms. I could go on and on about how much I love Portland, but that would be silly, and you'd probably get really bored. So I'll just show some pictures.

Isn't it beautiful? 1) look at all those people and 2) look at that sunshine!!!

Also, we went to the beach yesterday, and it was beautiful! (and cold)!

snowpocolypse 2014

 

This is Portland.

 Can you even believe that this is a view from a city? It looks like we're in the middle of nowhere!

 Snowpocolypse made for lots of impromptu adventures and fun. We went "sledding" with some of our friends. This is Adam sledding with a plastic shovel (quidditch style). It's actually quite effective.

 Cross country skiing down my street? Sure, why not!

Meeka spent lots of quality time attacking snowflakes at the window. (PS, cats don't like to get thrown onto the patio in the snow)
