Seattle Trip

We visited Seattle this weekend for a quick get-away! Even though it was rainy, it was lots of fun. We got to see the King Tut exhibit at the science center, which was super awesome (especially for us nerds). We also got to look from afar at the houseboats. One day I will live there. I promise, you just wait and see. They are perfect.
Also pictured: the Space Needle, Adam walking downtown, Pike's Place Market, and Sadako and the 1000 paper cranes

Welcome back, rain

I can't say that I have missed you that much, cute panda boots.

Unfortunately our time apart hasn't been long enough to make you appealing.

Also, Mr. Sun, I've appreciated our time together. Please come back some time before July.

Bear Cam

If you click here, you will see the best thing ever.

A real bear webcam where you can see brown bears (live, by the way) catching salmon in a river. It's super awesome and super nerdy. I love it.

Here is a screen shot of the bears.
Seriously, take a look. There are like 3 different cameras to choose from and I guarantee that you will see at least one bear.

Enjoy!

Fall is Here

Hello all.
Let's all put on our imagination caps and pretend that I am the best, most consistent blogger you have ever seen. :)

This week has been bursting with fall activities!
Take a look...

We went to a corn maze for team building during our teacher inservice day.
(Pretty awesome that I got paid to play with my friends...)
I also carved a pumpkin at our church activity. Like the cat?
Meeka liked it, but she used up another life sniffing it.
She decided to smack the tealight with her paws.
(Awww, poor baby, right?)
WRONG! She hit the candle with both of her paws. That means that she probably thought, "Ouch, that hurt" during round one, and went back for some more. Do not feel sorry for her.
Psycho.
The poor fool had wax all over her front paws.
Also, isn't Portland beautiful?
Have a wonderful Tuesday!
